spring!

Spring is finally setting in here in STL -- robins! daffodils! As a rule, that seems to make me want seeds, growing things, and color in general. I'll be dyeing a bit of great cotton lace we got recently in San Francisco. Perhaps it will inspire some new styles -- can't wait to post it and hear comments! Even if they're mostly from my team...

Turns out there's a sweet new boutique in the middle of downtown -- just on 18th Street near Olive. Turns out the owner -- Mel, is about the nicest human being I've met this year. Turns out she's got a store full of nifty clothes she designed herself and a couple that she didn't. Huh. Maybe you should stop in if you're in the neighborhood -- she'd love to have you.
